Namoona is the story of a man, who with his justifiable action becomes an ideal example for others to live by.

Kedarnath (Kishore Sahu), a wealthy heir unlike other rich brats is a very sympathatic person, never does he hesitate to contribute to charity and least of all towards any which is organised by Rekha (Kamini Kaushal). Kedarnath, smitten by Rekha’s beauty is in love with her.

However Rekha, is in love with a refugee-Jeevan (Dev Anand), who is working in the publication owned by Kedarnath. When Kedarnath knows about the blossoming affair between the two he is annoyed but...

On the other side Rekha finds herself in a new relationship with a lady called Shyama and a lecher called Lacchu who follows Shyama.
