Ranbhoomi narrates the story of two good men who are pushed to violence by a series of unfortunate events. Rupa(Shatrughan Sinha),in his thirst for revenge against his sisters rapist, taken to the gun and kills villian in broad daylight. Chandahn Singh(Jeetendra) is a professor, but also the villians brother. He vows to avenge his brothers death and thus becomes Rupas sworn enemy. Village simpleton Bhola(Rishi Kapoor) is thrown into the picture and he inadvertently tries to broker peace between Rupa & Chandan.
